Oh Donna, I'm so Image for not being here when you 1st posted this, and want to welcome you aboard! I'm also Image for all you're going through hun! I hope I'm not over-stepping here, but why does your husband have control of your meds? How is your marriage otherwise? Does he control everything about you?
I don't know what all I can do to help, other than being here for you. I could find the letters on chronic pain vs addiction, but don't know if your husband would even read them huh Is there any way to get him to go to your doctor's appt. so the doctor can tell him how it is? Sometimes it takes the doctor to get them to see that what you complain about is true. I'd definitely see about taking the control of my meds away from him Image If you're worried about getting addicted, ask your doctor to administer your meds for you....atleast you know he'll give them to you when you really need them... where hubby's not being understanding etc. There's other pain med options too...what about the pain pump? It's automatically given to you, so you won't have to rely on anyone to give you your meds anymore. It's an option anyway!
It would be much easier to help you, or aim you in the right direction if I knew a bit more about your situation. Please come back and post more so we can understand what help you need huh
I look forward to hearinig something from you soon! Image
